  1.                        SESAME SEED COOKIES

  4. 1 c. liquid brown sugar
  5. 1/2 c. butter
  6. 2-1/2 c. flour
  7. 2 t. baking powder
  8.  
  9. 1 t. baking soda
  10. 1 grated lemon rind
  11. 1/3 c. sesame seedsHeat brown sugar to boiling.  Put in bowl with butter until
  12. melted.  Stir in remaining ingredients.  Chill covered for 2
  13. hours.  Roll out to 1/8 inch thickness.  Cut with cookie cutters
  14. and place on greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 degrees for 7 to
  15. 8 minutes.
